In the se­mi­nar "In­for­ma­ti­on Tech­no­lo­gy" cur­rent to­pics from the en­t­i­re area of in­for­ma­ti­on tech­no­lo­gy are co­ver­ed. The to­pics in­clu­de con­trol en­gi­nee­ring, com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on acoustics and sys­tems, bio­me­di­cal en­gi­nee­ring, pho­to­nics and tera­hertz tech­no­lo­gy, soft­ware tech­no­lo­gy, em­bed­ded sys­tems in in­for­ma­ti­on tech­no­lo­gy. Pos­si­ble focal points wi­t­hin these areas can be e.g. mo­bi­le radio sys­tems, me­di­cal ima­ging, and man-ma­chi­ne in­ter­faces. Dif­fe­rent to­pics are of­fe­red to the stu­dents for selec­tion. The se­mi­nar talks are ar­ran­ged ac­cor­ding to sub­ject areas.

Objectives

The stu­dents mas­ter the in­de­pen­dent re­se­arch and pro­ces­sing of sci­en­ti­fic in­for­ma­ti­on as well as pre­sen­ta­ti­on tech­ni­ques. The stu­dents have ac­qui­red in-depth know­ledge in a cur­rent field of in­for­ma­ti­on tech­no­lo­gy re­se­arch.
